You may want a view of the page that does not include the left-hand navigation bar or the advertising blocks when printing. That view is readily accessible from the list of page-focused links available within the Wiki page widget.
- To add a widget to your left-hand navigation bar visit the Special:WidgetDashboard and then drag and drop the widget of interest into your left-hand navigation bar.
- The Tips widget is another useful one to have ready access to.
Of course if you want this set of widgets to be remembered on each visit then you should create a Wikia account. It is free and does not require any probing personal details. You'll also discover that you see fewer advertisements when you are logged in as a registered user.
By the way, the tips and advice from this MediaWiki message are most easily viewed by registered users via the My Home link in the top right navigation bar.
